We Rise is seeking volunteers from college age through retirement to help with upcoming events in Lancaster, PA; support our online education programs; and assist with community outreach. Serve on the planning committee or simply volunteer the day of the event!
We welcome remote/online volunteers around the world.

We Rise's 5-40 hour/week unpaid internships in social work, public health, non-profit business leadership, fundraising, marketing/communications, photo journalism/videography and others can be counted for college or course credit for students who coordinate with their university and We Rise International.

Are You Bilingual in Spanish and English?
Complete your University or graduate practicum at We Rise International. Now interviewing for Summer and Fall '25.
MH SEEDs University or Graduate Practicum Students Receive
- A chance to make a meaningful impact in local SE PA Latino/a/x communities.
- Hands-on experience leading both in-person and online support groups for Latinos.
- Over 18 hours of comprehensive clinical mental health training.
- Participation in online Grand Rounds Training Sessions on Latino Mental Health led by experts and community providers.
- 8 hours of training on support group management & group counseling.
- Weekly online peer learning cohort discussions during practicum hours.
- Benefit from regular group and individual support and supervision.
- Gain experience reducing mental health stigma in local Latino communities.
- Access post-practicum connections with national Latino Mental Health provider networking organizations.
- Final-year graduate students are also eligible to provide individual online counseling in addition to support groups.
- $1,000 stipend/scholarship to support academic and living expenses during the practicum.
