Dr. Bobbie Legg, PhD, MSW, LCSW is an international trauma expert and mental health clinician who serves a Clinical Director with Beyond the Orphanage; a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University Graduate School of Social Work; and is a Diplomate from the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She is a national speaker on Trauma Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Adolescent Treatment, Adolescent Self-Expression, and Suicide Prevention. Dr. Legg has more than 20 years of experience as a mental health and trauma counselor in the U.S. and Internationally.

The Churches Care Program (We Rise Int'l in partnership with Eastern Mennonite University,) is building the capacity of churches and church leaders in Pennsylvania to effectively support and assist individuals and families experiencing a mental illness or addiction got rolling just before COVID-19 hit the U.S. Churches participating in the program are supported by an online mental health and addictions counselor who is available to provide guidance to them as they support those in their congregation and community. The online counselor will be available to the current participating churches throughout and beyond the COVID-19 outbreak.
